Sadr calls on the police and army to stay neutral during election
Moqtada al-Sadr
"We have sent a delegation to see these problems," Sadr said in response to a question about the demonstrators today (April 26).
In response to another question, about parties using members of the army and police as reliable cadres during the election, Sadr called for the army and security forces to be neutral in the elections.
In response to another question, he said about those who do not derive legitimacy from the people, that "from now on [they should] claim rights through the ballot boxes, fear God and do not make fun of others, everyone is short of God and the homeland."
