Creation, a matter to consider
Should Creation
matter or should we just go with the flow that modern day science
explains the universe and all that is in it. Creation does matter. We
know that the creation is made up of matter and the periodic table of
elements show this. We know that the lightest element is hydrogen, while the heaviest natural element is uranium.
All other elements after uranium are artificial man-made
zelements that are highly radioactive and very unstable. In between hydrogen and uranium are very important elements, without them water could not exist or the very oxygen we breathe to sustain life on Earth. God knew all this when He created in the beginning (Genesis 1:1). God is not the Author of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33). He intentionally performs miracles that are unmistakably and undeniably His.
The fossil record is a part of creation that must be consider that gives us a perspective of the animals and plants that God created that are no longer with us, because of extinction. There is a lot of evidence found in the sedimentary rock strata that shows without a doubt that they once existed on planet Earth.
We know from the fossil record that some type of catastrophic event took place to entomb animals and plants. We now know that this event involved lots of water and sediments. The worldwide flood of Genesis 6-8 gives a description of that event. This worldwide flood was a little over a year in duration. It covered the whole earth above the pre-flood mountains when the “fountains of the deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were opened.” (Genesis 7:11) All of creation was destroyed except for the air breathing animals that had lungs and Noah’s family who were on the Ark. Fish were not on the Ark.
There is something very incredible about some of the fossils they are finding in the fossil record. These fossils they are finding have soft tissue within, some even have red blood cells, including hemoglobin. They have discovered this in Tyrannosaurus and Hadrosaur bones. Mary Schweitzer, a paleontologist, made the discoveries in 2005. Over the past three years the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) has made at least 20 discoveries of original soft tissue found in fossilized remains around the world. Romans 1:20 says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead: so that they are without excuse.” (King James Version)
Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (King James Version)
