Iraq’s Sadr Planning to Help Gov’t Settle Security Crisis
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iraqi cleric Seyed Muqtada al-Sadr plans to cooperate with Iraq’s new government in an attempt to resolve crisis in the country, media reports said.
Iraqi speaker Saleem al-Jobouri met with Sadr delegation on Monday in which both sides discussed ways to counter terrorism in the crisis-hit country, Alforat news agency reported.
The delegation presented a proposed governmental program suggested by the head of the movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.
