LOUISA Co., Va. (WWBT) – The United States Geological Survey reports a small earthquake in Louisa County.

The quake happened on Monday, May 30 shortly after 10 a.m.

The 1.6 magnitude earthquake happened about 7 miles southwest of Louisa and about 40 miles from Richmond.
