Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that there was no war with the United States. This information is given on their official website. In a speech to government officials, Khamenei said that what happened between Tehran and the US was a test of resolve rather than a military encounter.
The Khamenei dot IR website quoted him as saying that no war is going to take place. Neither we nor he (America) wants war. They know that it is not in their interest.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also said on Tuesday that the US does not want war with Iran. However, he said that pressure will be placed on Tehran.
