 A 15-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli military fire in clashes along the border fence in northern Gaza on Wednesday, the Strip's Health Ministry reported.
The ministry identified the boy as Ahmad Samir Abu Hevel and said he was shot in the head.
In addition, the ministry said fifteen Palestinians sustained injuries from live fire and tear gas inhalation in the clashes.
Earlier today, three Palestinians were wounded, one seriously, in an explosion in a Hamas facility in Gaza. Circumstances leading to the explosion remain unknown.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said it detained two Palestinians seen crossing into Israel from Gaza. A knife was found on one of the suspects.
Two fires broke out in Israeli communities near the Gaza border after airborne firebombs were launched from the Strip.
According to the Health Ministry, a 78-year-old Palestinian man was killed by Israeli fire that targeted the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
According to a statement released by the ministry, the man, identified as Haj Ibrahim Alaruki, was hit after Israeli troops opened fire toward civilian homes in the center of the strip, near a refugee camp. On Monday, thirty-seven Palestinians were wounded by Israeli military fire during clashes on the Israel-Gaza border, Gaza's Health Ministry said. A total of 93 Palestinians sustained injuries that day according to the ministry.
In Gaza on Friday, seven Palestinians, including a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old one, were killed by IDF fire.
A total of 506 Palestinians were injured in the clashes Friday, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, some 90 of whom by Israeli fire. Of those wounded, 210 were evacuated to hospitals.
Clashes also broke out in the West Bank on Monday, where 77 Palestinian were injuried by rubber bullets and gas and smoke inhalation, the Palestinian Red Crescent said. Clashes broke out in Al-Bireh, a city near Ramallah, the villages of Abu Dis and Qalandiya, and Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City.
